Quiz: What type of killer are you?

Sunday, June 26th, 2005

I don’t normally do this quiz thing, but this one is quite fun. And it’s got cool pictures. I got it from Victor’s blog.

Assassin

You are an assassin.
That means you are a proffessional and do your job without mixing any emotions in it. In your life you have probably been hurt many times and have gotten some mental scars. This results in you being distant from people. Though man think that you are evil, you are not. What you really are is a person, trying to forget your pain and past. You are the person who never seems to care and that is why being an assassin fits you good. Atleast, that’s what people think. Even if you don’t care that much for your victims, you still have the ability to care and to generally feel. It is not lost, just a little forgotten. In crowds you tend to not get to noticed, and dress in black or other discrete colours. You don’t being in the spotlight and wish people would just leave you alone. But once you do get close to someone you have a hard time letting go and get real down if you loose him/her.

Main weapon: Sniper

Facial expression: Narrowed eyes

Laptop memory

Saturday, June 25th, 2005

I wanted to upgrade my laptop memory from 512MB to 1GB. So, after checking out with Freddy for the price, he told me how to check my laptop for empty memory slots. Unfortunately it only has 2 slots, and they are both occupied.

So I am now thinking of selling both of the 256MB laptop memory chip if anyone wants to buy them. I’m perhaps looking for $45 for each chip. They are DDR333 (200 pin).

Otherwise, I’ll just have to bear the misery of not having as much memory as I want to :)

Meat and cancer link

This article from SMH says eating meat without veggie increase bowel cancer risk. Hmm that seems to confirm that whatever is tasty is probably bad for you.

Limited oil

Wednesday, June 1st, 2005

An article from Wired News says that some analysts believe oil availability/production will peak and start to decline this decade. Afterwards there will be inflation and perhaps economic chaos if we don’t soon find alternative source of energy (or continue to burn oil in increasing rate).

I think public transport is a really good way to conserve oil consumption. I hope more people will use it. It’s just that Sydney buses are not always smooth, and the trains are a bid chaotic these days.
